
All is now set for the 2015 edition of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ)’s students’ week which kicks off from Monday May 18th to 23rd 2015 at the school’s premises in Ogba, Lagos State, Nigeria, and the management is ready to honour famous African Fuji Music Star, Abass Akande Obesere, as well as movie stars, Femi Adebayo, Liz Anjorin, Rose Odika and many others with award for their immense contributions to take the Nigerian entertainment industry to the zenith and empowering the youths through their profession.

The event, we learnt will be a beehive of activities, which have been slated thus: MONDAY: Musical Concerts and Carnival, starring Five Disc Jockeys (5 DJs) and Musical acts, while on TUESDAY: Cultural Day; Cultural Exhibition, Drama and Film show (Titled: ANTIQUE), Indigenous musical performance, WEDNESDAY, will be for lecture and Inter-School Debate, THURSDAY: Mock Assembly/ RAG Day, Corporate Social Responsibility by visiting Orphanages, Cooking competition and Represent your clubs. FRIDAY is reserved for all Sports Activities and Pageantry, and the last day, which is SATURDAY, will occupy the Grand Finale (Dinner/Awards Night).

The 5th annual students’ week will have in attendance celebrities and guests from all works of life including: Abiola Kazeem, Dr. Olusanya Awosan (S.A. to Pres.

Goodluck Jonathan on P.R.), Falz, Phenom, Lace, Eminiic, African China,Toby Grey, YQ, Cj Mama, Funny Bone, Emma Oh My God, Laff up,Pepenazi and many more.
